Required minimum for all ICU/CCU Critical-Care Registered Nurses, First-Responder Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists and Care/Emergency Physicians.
3-5 years of ER/ICU experience
- Active state license
- Air Crew Core Medical Curriculum (State of Florida requirement)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Advanced Airway Management Class
- Advanced Trauma Physiology Course
Our medical team also has pre-hospital trauma life-support training. Every medical team member undergoes D.O.T curriculum flight physiology, as well as cultural sensitivity and awareness courses. They also can apply advanced line-placement (intraosseous) during a flight if necessary. We also mandate that our medical team members be subjected to periodic performance reviews that are under direct supervision of our in-house medical director.
